tips to finding the cheapest airline tickets

How to obtain the lowest airline fares
Tip #3 Chek other airports in the area

Often you can find a much less expensive airfare by going to a different airport in or near your destination.

For example, you may save more by travelling to Midway Airport in Chicago than you can by going to Ohare.

Not only do you save money, but you may actually be closer to your destination. New York has three major airports. Many major cities have multiple airports.... be sure to check the fares to each of them.

This works on the departing end of things as well as the destination end.

Drive a little more to the airport....Often we find fares out of Seattle to be much cheaper than they are from Spokane.... so sometimes it's worth the 4 hour drive to fly out of Seattle.

Does the same hold true for you?
